Mechanical & Civil Designer

Your place in our Mechanical Design team

You report directly to the Manager Plant Integration.


What you do

  • Specification, design, drawing up and development of the mechanical design according to customer specifications, project engineer's instructions and applicable standards.

    This includes :

    • Drawing up layout drawing installation (3D, cuts,....)

    • Drawing up drawings, components and structures (construction drawings, composition drawings, basic and detailed engineering)

    • As-built drawings

  • Design and discipline related verification of process technical diagrams (PFD, P&ID).

  • Advising and supporting the responsible process engineer/project engineer both in terms of mechanical design and process technical diagrams with regard to technical alternatives and solutions.

  • Checking drawings relating to mechanical design for completeness and correctness and providing advice on best execution methods in order to support the client in the development of the concept.

  • Possibility to coordinate all mechanical design activities of a project when several mechanical designers are deployed on a project.

  • Assisting the site manager in erection of the installation.

  • Reporting on a regular basis on the state of affairs of the various assignments and presentation of analyses in order to be able to identify any difficulties in good time.

  • Contribution to continuous fundamental and industrial research and development of current and new technologies/new technical concepts and applications.


    You are a great engineer (m/f)

  • Graduate (Electro)mechanical mechanics (A1)/professional bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience

  • Extensive experience in equipment construction and plant design

  • Knowledge of Inventor, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, AutoCAD is certainly an asset

  • You are interested in FEM-analysis

  • Knowledge of NANSTRAN IN-CAD or equivalent software is an asset
